01Pricing and quotations

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Prices shown on our website are starting prices or indicative ranges. The final price depends on size, medium, complexity, materials, the number of people or items, and the agreed brief.

Before any work begins, we send you a written quote by email or WhatsApp. Unless it says otherwise, a quote is valid for 15 days.

02Booking and payment

Your commission is confirmed once you accept the quote and we receive a 50% advance. The advance reserves time in our studio calendar and covers the first stages of work.

The remaining 50% is due once the artwork is complete and before it is dispatched or collected, unless we agree a different schedule in writing.

We accept UPI, bank transfer and online payment links. Payment details are shared with your quote.

03Intuitive Art consultation

Every Intuitive Art commission includes one personal conversation of about 20 to 40 minutes. Extra calls, or big changes to the brief after the consultation, may carry an additional fee, which we will always confirm with you first.

04Approval and revisions

Where your commission includes a sketch or concept preview, we will ask you to approve it before we begin the final artwork. Two rounds of revisions are included unless your quote says otherwise.

Changes that alter an approved concept, add people or elements, or substantially change the brief may be charged separately. We will always tell you the cost before going ahead.

05Your reference materials

You are responsible for sending clear reference photos and accurate information (names, dates, spellings) by the agreed date. Please only send photos and materials you have the right to share.

For Memory Collages, please tell us which photos and items may be used. If you would like to send physical keepsakes, we will agree how they are sent and returned before you post anything. Please do not send irreplaceable originals without speaking to us first.

06Timelines

We confirm an estimated completion and dispatch date once we have your brief, references and advance payment. Most commissions are completed within 2 to 4 weeks of concept approval; larger or more detailed pieces may take longer.

Delays in sending references, approvals or payments, or changes to the scope of work, may move the timeline. If that happens, we will share a revised date.

07Handmade variation

Every Kalakosh artwork is made by hand. Small differences in colour, texture, brushwork and finish are a natural part of original art, not defects. Colours may also look slightly different on screens than they do in person.

08Cancellations and refunds

Because every piece is made specifically for you, cancellations are handled according to how much work has been done. The full details are in our Cancellation & Refunds.

09Shipping, framing and installation

Framing, shipping, insurance, installation and special packaging are not included unless your written quote says so. Delivery method and charges are confirmed before the final payment. See our Shipping & Delivery for details, including how to report damage in transit.

10Copyright and reproduction

The artist keeps the copyright in every artwork unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Buying an original artwork gives you ownership of the physical piece, but not the right to reproduce it, print it, or use it for commercial or advertising purposes.

You are welcome to share photos of your artwork on your personal social media; a credit to @kalakoshstudio_26 is always appreciated. Any commercial use needs a written licence, which we are happy to discuss.

11Portfolio use and privacy

We love sharing our work, but we will always ask your permission before posting an artwork that shows identifiable people, your personal photos or private details. If you would prefer your commission to stay private, just tell us before work begins. Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after your information.

12Taxes

Any applicable taxes will be shown clearly in your final quote. The price you approve is the price you pay, apart from optional extras you choose to add.

13Use of this website

All images, artworks and text on kalakosharts.com belong to Kalakosh unless stated otherwise. Please do not copy, download for reuse, or reproduce them without our written permission.

We try to keep everything on this website accurate and up to date, but prices, sizes and availability may change without notice. Your written quote is what applies to your commission.

14Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any commission is limited to the amount you have paid us for that commission. We are not responsible for indirect losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier disruptions, natural events or public holidays.

15Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra. We always prefer to resolve concerns through a friendly conversation first.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your commission is the one published on the date you paid your advance. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed.
